Awesome Artwork: Sierra Vista, AZ

Kids in Sierra Vista worked on illustrations for the book Humongous Adventures and came up with these glorious drawings!  So impressive.  If they turned in a survey sheet & permission, they'll be featured individually in August of 2016.  Looking forward to it.

Awesome Artwork: Kingman, AZ

This is an exciting project.  The book Good Neighbors has a young man who (literally) builds an entire kingdom by himself -- well, with the help of some powerful horses.  The kids in Kingman helped illustrate the book that shows how that empty kingdom got citizens.  Great work!

Anyone who sent in a survey sheet & permission is going to be featured individually in April of 2016.  Stay tuned!

Awesome Artwork: Tempe, AZ

The kids made great drawings for the book Good Neighbors.  The youngest of the winners is 7 and the oldest is 16.  The rest are ages 10-12.  You'd never guess which is which.  (HINT:  the one on top wasn't from the oldest kid.)  For any of these artists who turned in their survey & permission form, they'll get a whole blog entry during May of 2016.  Stay tuned for more details!

Awesome Artwork: Phoenix

These pictures illustrate the book Big Help.  The artists are 11 and 12.  Each artist has the chance to be featured individually on this blog in January of 2016.  We can't wait!

And Now . . . All the Fun Begins

The art contest entries have started coming in!  They're so much fun.  Two books have now been decorated with illustrations by children in Arizona.  (Once parent permission forms are in, a few of those entries can be posted here.)

A huge THANKS to the kids who submitted drawings from:

PHOENIX, AZ
TEMPE, AZ

Groups of kids in Kingman, Sierra Vista, Chandler, Flagstaff and Henderson (Nevada) are going to be participating in art-fest days to submit their artwork as part of a "private" contest.  Can't wait to see!

Real Books for Sale!

It took a year of production, editing, designing, changing, modifying, tweaking, re-thinking, and figuring things out.  Well, a year and a bit.  Now, it's all worth it because the first twelve books have cleared production and are available online.  Click this link to take a look at the new FSFTshop.

Above is how they looked before --and now after.
